Condensation
occurs when warm, humid air contacts a cooler surface, especially
window glass and frames. This happens regularly in cooler weather,
when your doors and windows are kept closed, retaining the moisture
filled air.
|

In a single glazed home, humidity on cold windows and walls can
form pools of moisture, often leading to the growth of unhealthy
mould.
A major source of humidity is our own breathing, along with clothes
driers, bubbling saucepans, hot showers and houseplants - all
healthy activities for a lived-in home!
