Clean the glass inside and out as normal. The space between panes
is hermetically sealed against dust and moisture, so never needs
cleaning.
Sashes and Frames
A simple wash with soapy water will keep your uPVC frames looking
new for decades. If necessary, you can scrub this tough material
to remove bird droppings or other stains. CertainTeed windows and
doors are easy to live with and hard to damage. In
CertainTeed Colonial or federation windows, the bars are sealed
between the two panes of glass so you can enjoy their style without
the fiddly cleaning.
On CertainTeed double-hung windows, a tilt sash flips the outside
in for faster, safer cleaning, especially upstairs. Sliding windows
have easily removable sashes.
